The Clive James Formula 1 Show
is undoubtably one of the best Formula One
preview shows ever. Clive assembles all drives for the 1997 season sans the Ferrari drivers (though Schumacher does get beamed in late in the show) and many team members in the audience, and Clive asks all the tough questions that everyone wanted to know, including how Giancarlo Fisichella deals with the women in the paddock, how many cigarettes Jan Magnussen smokes before a Grand Prix, and how drivers get a seat by being wealthy with Pedro Diniz. Additional guest appearances include Stirling Moss, Jackie Stewart, Nigel Mansell (without mustache, to boot) and Murray Walker, who all keep the jokes rolling and have a laugh at their own expense.
So sit back, soak in the 90s pastel hues, and laugh your way through
